Dania Beach, Florida
Dania beach fishing pier was rebuilt in 1994, This fishing pier is sand with some rocky bottom until the middle of the fishing pier where it gets rockier from there to the end. It is a great sight fishing pier if you are into this style of fishing, I have seen some wild things swim by: Last time I was there I saw a huge Manta ray (6 to 7ft wing span) with three Cobia along side, a truly majestic sight.

Starting from the trough to 50 yards out produces Snook and Croakers, and during the fall, the finger mullet can mass up in the trough and it make for some fun fall fishing from the beach with Snook, Bluefish and Ladyfish. If you net some finger mullet and use them live you will stay busy with Ladyfish and Snook.
Off the TEE in the North corner, as far as you can cast, I have caught a lot of Mutton Snapper and a good time to fish is after a storm. I like to use heads of bait fish. I find that they work the best consistently and I use them on a bottom rig.
The Pompano run is best in the Spring at this pier but Fall also produces many good days fishing.
Spanish Mackerel runs in the Fall and has produced trophy fish compared to other piers in the area.
So where should you get a bite to eat when fishing or enjoying the Beach here in Dania?
The Quarterdeck Restaurant located at the base of the Fishing Pier is what South Florida is all about. It's our classic style of Neighborhood Bar and Grill. I am sure you will enjoy! They have sushi and seafood dishes so fresh, you'll think they reeled them in themselves. Craft beers, hand-crafted cocktails, award-winning ribs, pasta, salads and the best burger. Give it a try the Boatless Fisherman loves them!!
