It is gorgeous, personally I like this place, South Inlet Park is local favorite. It is rarely crowded and offers fishing from the shore or jetty, its quiet and somewhat private and there is a lot to see! Everyone watches the boats coming in and out all day, this is a great place to see wildlife as you hang out for a leisure day while you fish, you will not be alone but everyone is friendly at the inlet. This park has a perfect beach for the family to chill while you fish the area and its easy to get them to go to the beach just sneak your rod under the blankets and be surprised when you unload the car.( works every time )
Boca Inlet is another great place for bait "mullet pilchard", .
Live bait at this location:
Mullet: Are found in the boca inlet and on the inside to the bridge area.
Pilchard: Will be along the jetty or on the inside and on the beach side.
Fishing areas:
South jetty of Boca Raton Inlet
I find snook on the tide change live bait or artificial (jig, Doa,) along the inside of the jetty, I have also found them on South side beach area. I normally work the current incoming and out going keeping my live bait just off of the bottom, like I always say if your not getting hung up once in a while your not doing it right. Lures that is drivers and top water, I work from out in and along the jetty or off the end casted out. In addition you will find, on the beach side, ladyfish, big grunts, spots and croakers and occasional snapper.
Inside of the Inlet
Along the jetty and sea wall are jacks, snapper, snook. .moonfish.
End of the Jetty
You could catch anything coastal fish in this area it is just a matter of whats biting.
