Weekend World Cobra Snakehead Pursuit with Dondel, Chris

Post by safeman »

May 1st, 2010 World Record Snakehead Pursuit II Saturday Fort Lauderdale

Dr. Snakehead and I decide on seeing if we can nail an official world record this Saturday Morning for Cobra. Dondel and I got to the Federal Facility and snook in without any security guards looking our way, the morning were filling with the most phenomena of nature. Our giant skinny world records snake head Orca Pods were busy mating and heed little of interest toward any lures. We were embarrass and left them to their privacy for the duration and hope by the June those 50 inchers will start gaining some weight and past the thirteen lbs barrier by July so we will set a record in weight, girth and length not to be break for some time. These fishes have great length but weight wise they are lighter than the Jail or Tar pit Cousins that Bionic & Dondel have caught in the 32 inch range but weight 10 to 11 lbs. I think this is due to being land lock now, we have never caught a fish in there smaller than six lb and even the six lbs are a rarity. Also the thick wood is devoid of any green iguanas; hopefully the hatchings of coots and Muscovy duck will fatten the Orca very soon and the ever present water rats. :happyfisherman:

We went to Dondel secret Church instead, the location was a promising two miles of snake head boredom, Sargasso weed ingested, border by lust estate homes with annoying dogs. The phantom 11 lbs and some ounces was not seen again since Dondel buddy caught one many moon ago. The largest fish of the Five fish caught in this upscale neighborhood and religious shrine was a disappointing almost 32 inch 6.5 lbs snake head, we barely got it scale on my IGFA certified scale and my fractional line tape before the property owner dogs chase us off. It was a total failure as most of the smaller fishes were caught with missing eyes. Dondel told me a while back he had a guy who challenges him to some kind of snake head challenge and into some sadistically stuff about tearing their eyeballs and jaw off. Boy I thought three years as a sniper hunter for the government was the most patriotic and sadistically job I have ever done, but gouging out a fish eye and throwing them back was well disturbing at best! So we left this morbid corpse canal and it inhabitant in this high end neighborhood to its doomsday demise. My arms still sore from unhooking those fish Dondel, we ain't going back to that curse place. Bionic I told you the place yesterday, maybe you get better luck, we saw lots of giant logs mating. Funny they mate differently and different location, no orchestrated mass rut.

May 2nd, 2010 World Record Snakehead Pursuit III Sunday Deerfield

Chris our Michigan Yeti decided he has not caught a Snake or Clown fish since last year and hope I can take him Sunday to another Secret spots to pursue a World Record Snake or Clown which ever come first. I was bruised by yesterday lackey performance, my two arms were so sore from assisting Dondel. We went for Snake instead of cast netting for tropical smelt and walk four miles to get to the Clown fish site in the Loxahatchee was not my interest this Sunday. We arrive in Deerfield at 8am and made it alive through the barb wires and the resident pit bulls were to busy today—the mutts were absence from the joys of ripping our pants especially Chris new Swanky Bass Pro outfit, wow what a model. :smurfin:
.
So we went to work and nail ten snake heads and losing as much. The largest fish being around 6lbs and measuring 24 inches with a misfit two lbs large mouth bass, ten other smaller basses caught in this Deerfield Swamp. Chris caught an almost World Record Snake head on sewing thread, a ten inch snake head monster barely larger than Chris green and white scum frog junior. Most fish here are short and fat like an over fed Chihuahua. We spot lot of World Record Logs, but for some reason they are just not biting our sinking or floating lures in all color, not even Dondel's famous zoom and my Lazer Toad on my Lucky Problem Child reel and rod. They just chase it, stare at it with a profound boredom and swam away disinterest in an anal probe from the two alien visitors in their mist. :alien:

By three pm the Sun was intensely scorching, Chris was burned crisp like a baked Maine Lobster and suffering from the World Record Delusion Pursuit. The two stupid get-off the-spacecraft aliens have forgotten to bring Sun blocker in our excitement! :sunny:

Firetiger when are we going for the World Record Snake Head, at our age I don’t know how long we old men can pursuit this snaking sport. Why don’t you and I team up and the two old men can show these youngster how it is done. I got another secret World Record spot in Parkland I have left it Virgin until now. Your Saturday morning is free let hit them early at Nine am and put these teenagers to shame? :bigsmurf:

Thanks Fisherdave. Siegelreptiles I send you a PM so the system work. They probably doing some computer fixing and your message did not make it. Hey it happen at any site with regular maintenance. Try again, my system show I send you a message in the outbox. Bionic promised me he send those Wooly Mammoth Tar Pit Hogs...I have not received any message locally from him either, mostly out of state folks. Try the system later, BFF is the best site in my opinion. Also I live in Boca close to Parkland and Deerfield. So if you are interest in catching a few monsters, why I am always fair game.

Noah, the all tackle for the Cobra marker has to be beaten at 12lb or above unless I decide to send in my Application for the 13lb and two oz Cobra, it still sitting on the table. I lost my Nokia in that lakes, fortunate I have forward the info to my I phone. I have decided not to take it for all tackles. I have two many friends who are pursuit it and I would like to take as many of them out and let them break each other records on the way to the 13 marker and beyond. So yes the record will be at 12 or above to beat it and it will happen before July 4th..we need them to fatten up. I have 30 days to forward my application but I decide if that happen I have nothing to write, no more blogging for Safeman. I rather take some of the friends I have made at BFF out and have a friendly competition to take the record for America by them :driving: :reeling: :toast: .

The 12lb marker will be achieve in 2010 easily now we have located so many area 51 site, the question is; Will be it Dondel, KIZ, Phishingphanatic, Bionic Tull, Firetiger, Sponge Bob, Michigan Yeti, Bensiegelreptiles, Francois Helias, Snake Head Terror or some no name bank hoppers with no experience in the way of the snake head?? You know I am always going to be the champion of the little guy, I am rooting for the no name nobody---but if it is one of the Snake Head Brother like yourself Noah---I am cheering for you too buddy; so let have fun and don't forget it is just fishing!!! Keep up the great posting Noah, and if you want to go wrangling with me for a World Record....just promise me you jump in the water and hold it high for a picture like the Francois Helias's Folks...don't worry about the gators they are scare of us Asian; we eat everything but the oink they will run and let me have a Pulitzer photos!!! Ask Dondel and Michigan Yeti, they never see an alligator when they go fishing with me, my Special Operation Knife will skin them alive so rest assure you are with a good certified rescue diver if you can not swim!!!:biglaugh: :patriot:

Oh I have forgotten Freshwater Fly Rod, here for you Nantucket, I know how much you like to flyfish. I have not forgotten about taking you fly fishing for Clown. You can break these fly snake head record Nantucket. :happyfisherman: :reeling:

Tippet 2lb 11lb 9 oz Japan 7-27-2003 Masahiro Oomori
Tippet 4lb 13lb 6 oz Japan 5-7-2004 Masahiro Oomori
Tippet 6lb 13lb 6 oz Japan 3-16-2004 Masahiro Oomori
Tippet 8lb 13lb 13 oz Japan 3-16-2004 Masahiro Oomori
Tippet 12lb 13lb 13 oz Japan 3-16-2004 Masahiro Oomori
Tippet 16lb 11lb 14 oz Japan 3-16-2004 Masahiro Oomori
Tippet 20lb 10lb 2 oz Japan 3-16-2004 Yoshiro Saito

Hope this will be a big help for those who fly fish here in Florida. Also with the current known Cobra release on 4/24/2010 weight on IGFA scale of 13lb 2 oz by this author, I know Nantucket you can nail most of these tippet records for fly since they are non-inclusive of channa spp. More over a Snakehead of 14 to 15 lbs or above is well known to exist, Dondel have lost this fish a dozen time and I used to make fun of the poor guy until my surprise on 4/24/2010. I think I have lost them twice Dondel your behemoth cetaceans at the "LORAX", it did saw my 80lb braid and make my Kattmaxx rod scream and burn out my tidewater Shimano reel. Dondel said it had break his 30lb braid so often like glass, I think that is the reason he so obsessed trying to catch that Demon fish and left me to discover knew Area 51 sites. :reeling: :joker:

Actually the cold of 2010 kill all the giant snake where I fish, so I had to discover new sites and these World record snake heads were well hidden in plain site! So Nantucket the Fly Record is all your. I can take my Samurai Kantana and slice a golf ball into quarters but fly fishing for Snake into bush for accuracy is beyond the scope of this author.

Sorry about not answering earlier, been busy with this obsession with snake head world record and have forgotten about the Clown. Four months ago based on my Hispanic intelligent in Lake Worth, they caught a 20lb clown and ate that bony fish. Assume that giant survive like the giant snake, 2010 should be a World Record breaking for us American for Clown and Snake Head! I am looking to taking Phishingfanatics on his first snake head outing this coming Sunday. I took KIZ on his first giant snake head fishing yesterday Sunday and I have just not gotten around writing the story, busy with work and taking nice folks out for their first giants kept me dis-oriented!! I will clown fish in the afternoon in Phishingfanatics back yard. If we find any I am sure you and I can tree pass his back yard, those ribs in his new smoker certainly look goods. Hope he has no rotweiler, tire of having my pants wrip apart! :jocolor:
