I really enjoy lure fishing. I use to only fish bait but now I lure fish about 60% percent of the time. For me artificial lure fishing is More enjoyable, less messy and less time consuming then bait...

Been fishing the ponce inlet area the last few days and the mullet are pushing down The beach daily. The usual ladyfish, bluefish and jacks are on them. Water temps up here are quite cold. Idk if that...

I was at Jupiter inlet last night... Mullet school was so so and had to work out a little to net them... Storm fish were all gone... :x too late.

So i got my new boat in daytona toward the end of june... and she runs sweet... only had one issue which was a clogged oil filter.... easy cheap fix.. adding water pressure gauge and sending unit...

I was wondering why do some guys use a J hook (first hook) and a treble hook (back hook) and other guys use only treble hook for both.
Is there a benefit of using a J hook for the stinger rig or it's...

It's all preference. I've messed around with both and prefer a j-hook/treble combo. I personally think you get more hook ups with the treble stinger, but you will pull more hooks with them.

Looking to go with 65 or 80 on my thunnus 16000f for dropping in 100 plus water..... there is so much braid out there my head is spinning.... im looking for bang for the buck and of course reliability...

Seagar is great line, but yeah, it's expensive. The post about braid being made in the same factory is correct. It is made in the same machines but that about the rest not thing they have in common....
