is bottom fishing possible from kayak ?

If he has an anchor and it's calm enough he won't get swamped, I don't see why not.

It is kinda deep imho to anchor out there on the third. IF I were to try it I would reccomend 3 X the distance to bottom to have played out in anchor line, just to avoid getting swamped by a rogue wave, or wake. When floating, a yak is designed to roll up then down a wake moving in tandem W the water. When anchored that will not work.

I have anchored shallow, but would be a little hesitant to do it in like 60' or more.

Maybe other folks will chime in that have tried it.....
