Matching Fishing Rod

Post by bolo »

I just purchase a good condition Shimano Triton TLD25. What rod do you guys recommend for that reel (what length and rod action)? Planning to use it for bridge and party boat fishing.

8) You want a longer rod on a bridge than you do on a boat.

Do you think 7 feet will allow me to do both type of fishing?

If you had to choose one rod length for both, 7 is a pretty decent # to compromise on.

A lil long on a boat a lil short on a bridge, but I have used a 7'6 on both with success.
