I was wondering if anyone know of a good grassy canal that holds good pinfish in Broward.
Ive caught them all over but its a long process bc of all the grunts that you hook.
Just want a spot where I can get them like I do in the keys....wham bam ya know.
Thanks

No salt water grass bottom canals in Broward that I am aware of. North or south of Broward yes to pinfish but in Broward see them on the piers from time to time but never realible.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

The ICW, for instance off commercial or atlantic, holds them.. not really thick but use shrimp and you'll get some. Gonna weed through a lot of short grovers though.

Yeh we snapper fish there once before and caught like 10 pins mixed in with grovers, grunts, small cudas, slippery dicks. Little bit of everything.

I've caught them in the little creeks off the intercoastal near John Lloyd.
