The one on top is a Lizzardfish, and I am pretty sure you know what the one on the bottom is.

Thanks, everybody I asked at work was telling me it was a snakefish so I guess they had their animals mixed up! Not exactly what I was looking forward to catching, but any fish is better than an empty hook!!

Snakehead kind of looks like that but in fresh water. I hear them lizzard make great grouper bait when nothing else is biting.

Live but it all depends on where you fish. I know at the Naples pier, a lizardfish would result in a snook hookup within 5 minutes.
I havent had much luck with it in the miami area.

I caught a big lizardfish vertical jigging off the sea legs one time, was not expecting it at all.
