New to fourm

Hello guys & gals,my name is steve and i got the bug for surf fishing last year when we visit the daughter just north of Orlando.
I have been fishing since the age of 2 when my dad would tie me to a tree with enough rope to get within 3 ft. of the bank.
Since ive bank fished for what would bite,got into bass fishing,fishing tournys and now 62 years later I am slowing down some.
I no longer fish the tournys,(I miss the money though) but fish for fun and fresh fish to eat.
From Ohio and will be heading south soon.
Really enjoyed surf fishing,caught fish whiting and pomps. Fished from Daytona to Titesville.
Since she has moved to streight east of north Melbourne beach.
This area will all be new, but ihere the fishing may be better.
Got a couple starter surf rigs and a stroll the beach set up to cast lures.
Already got some good info from the fourm so i will have a place to start,thanks to all those who post!!

You will be at the right place... may not need to come down any further south for surf/pier fishing...lol
