Hello, Colin! Welcome to the site! My dad was from Doncaster, Yorkshire, served in Her Majesty's Navy in WWII aboard HMS Rodney, among others, came to the US after Armistice Day, married and moved our family to Fort Lauderdale in 1956. I grew up on and in the water here and been fishing all that time. I fish mostly the southeast coast of Florida, so I won't be much help to you regarding Sarasota and Siesta Key and west coast Florida. But, there are a bunch of us over that way and I'm sure they'll have some tips for you. Looking forward to your holiday time here next year. I'm sure it'll be a tremendous success! Tight lines, Mate! Out.
Those other fish must be smart. We caught all the stupid ones!
