Greetings and NO, I do not look for your.....secret haunts (although they would be accepted as well). I am new to the Beach Front fishing here in the Naples area. I would like to get a line on building my.....knowledge of the solid fishing area's. I thank you whether you can contribute or not.

I appreciate the thought....but not much of a pier guy. I have been checking out some places like Lovers Key over in Bonita. Several guys tossing dead shrimp on the bottom and getting....Hardhead.
and tomorrow I am going over to the North side of Wiggins Pass area (end of Barefoot Beach road) soooo we'll see.
Been looking at Google the Earth and its helpful to get a feel for general details of an area.

I haven't done much fishing in the naples area , except for snook . Entering Naples , from the east , you have to cross a bridge , that is fairly close into town . I have fished from this bridge several times , and found lots of snook there . Use live shrimp , without a sinker . Small live mullet or live needle-fish will also work . It all depends on their likes , that particular day . Let out enough line to allow the bait to drift back under the bridge , and into the shadow , created by the street lights . When the line tightens , simply raise the rod tip , and swing the bait out again . Keep repeating this process . Listen for fish hitting bait , back in the shadow . They lay in the darkend area , and ambush the incoming shrimp , needle-fish or mullet . Needless to say you will have to fish at night , for this to work properly . Tight lines .
