1) Don't choke the engine to start it after its been running for over an hour. Your engine does not like this.
2) Don't Squeeze the primer ball 2343342234 times thinking your engine is fuel starved. This creates niagra falls in your cylinders.
3) Don't crank your only battery dead while the cylinders have 3 gallons of fuel in them each, not being patient enough to let them drain.
4) Always listen to the man that sold you the boat when he tells you to replace the starting battery soon and put in the aux. batteries. (yes I was supposed to be running 3 batteries)
The above can lead to a long and adventurous night of tying your boat off to a strangers dock & calling cabs to take you to walmart to buy 3 proper marine batteries at 3am.
