Here are 2 cobia me(left) and my buddy Stevie caught on his boat today.
Mine was 17lbs and his was 15lbs.
Both were on jigs.

yeah I use custom made ones but it doesn't matter.
Mu buddy broke off his jig on a bigger fish and didn't have another jig.
So he tied on a trolling shirt and a hook and caught his fish.
They really eat anything.

Not recently on the pier.
and yes on occasion I can fish.
Unlike some people that cheat and go to the dry tortugas. :wink:

There were cobes to be caught.
I had a bad day.(hanlde on my reel came off in the middle of sight cast to the cobes.)
But the boat I was on saturday caught plenty of fish.
