Broward dolphin and sail fish
On thursday of last week me and my friend went out in my 17-ft key west hoping to land some kingfish for shark baits howerver what we got was a 17 pnd dolphin and a 4ft sailfish. We were starting our drifts at 120 in front of san rimo droping sardines mid depth and on flatlines. We had a pretty good chum slick going and out of no where a lonesome dolphin came up. We tossed the weighted deens to him but he wouldnt eat. He started swimming away so we threw butterfly jigs to him but he only followed em up. I chunked deens to him and in minutes we were almost handfeeding him, so we rerigged and tossed him a deen and he ate it, and ended up in our cooler. This took place in only 80 ft of water. the sail was free jumping at us so we picked up the flatlines and he dissapered. Moments later the bottom rod went off and it was him. After a 10 minute fight we dehooked him and he swam away for another fight.

U caught it right before the wind kicked up! Good job man! Yeah, sails either light all up and come eat at the surface or, they go and nail a deeper bait, if at all. Regardless, good times!
