Another cool story: Last september we were fishing the north side of boynton inlet and it was like 6-8 w/the occasional 10' rolling through. We were getting barrels and we werent even surfing! It was cool, we were slaying the jacks... anyways... I swam out a lady fish on my 6/0wide and set the rod down at the end.. for some stupid reason I though I had it all angled right and it would be str8... it went in. About 4 weeks later my boys wake me up and ask me if I lost a 9' shark stick w/a 114hlw on it.. I was markin' out they dove the inlet and got like 8 diff. rods/reels one of which was my lost 6/0. The frame and spool are completely shot but thanks to me keepin my sh!t lubed up, both plates are good.
