This article is why I joined the site!
Honestly, I was abit taken back by all the talk of kicking people off before I found a good article. Hopefully I find more like this. This was GREAT! Thanx!

By far the best advice for my girl and I. We love to fish the keys bridge especially around this time of year. Its my off season. But I'm pumped to try it all out.
I love it when this reel sings.

It is a little over 30" in diameter.
Thanks Zebco for the info that helped me find it.
That thing looks like a crab ring, the kind they use off Oregon for Dungenous Crab. Are crab rings used in Florida?
Looks like this could serve double duty - catch crabs for bait, and haul up you catch.

Omsquad you can take this article Tommy wrote word for word
The dropper with the suspended bait floating at a foot is besides a regular fish finder rig a super productive way.
If the fish are there that is.
Will bring you a nurse or 2 at times but it works very well

How can you not bump this winner of a thread? Should be a must read before going to the Keys. Thanks Tommy. Thanks Phino

Re: BF's Quick guide to nailing Big fish on the Keys Bridges
There is no telling how many times I have read this one. It is so easy to adapt the equipment you already own to give you an excellent opportunity to land fish. Like the drop back rig. I can remember my first trip after reading the post. Knowing to bump up the line size so dramatically then larger fish still biting.Kingofthesea wrote:How can you not bump this winner of a thread? Most of the time people will not share tips in fear places will be fished out and that is so true in south fl but Tommy knew the area down there and shared anyway. Good luck trying to fish it out!
