Hooked up on 5 the weekend of the 3rd just north of Juno (near Carlin Park), landed two in the low-to-mid 20-inch range. I didn't have the proper gear (was fishing my pompano rigs) and so the other three were all bite-offs. I was catching them in the morning on the incoming high. Bite completely died at high tide. Good fun.

This past Saturday I fished the outgoing tide in the morning, same spot, wasn't much of anything biting. A few whiting.

This coming weekend the tides should be back to where they need to be. Nice cool snap might help things out too? Looking forward to it. Have a bunch of rigs tied up and ready that will be more bluefish friendly.
