So I've been trying to catch some sharks with a shakespear walmart combo, a penn pier 209 on a star rod 31 deluxe, and a 309 on an older pole with no name. I'm not great with casting my conventionals...

I use DOAs a lot for trout and find that after a couple fish (sometimes just one) the plastic loses its grip on the hook and slides up the line. Pain in the butt. I use super glue which I guess helps...
