Couple of questions. I have been trying (trying key word) to single pole trolley fish off the juno pier. I am using a 6000 penn fierce II and a 9 foot heavy action rod. My question is if the 20lb mono...

1guy1rod....switch to braid, forget the trolley, keep the mono leader with a trace of wire, and just freeline the bigger baits off the end of the pier. Your bait will go farther out, cover more area...

Fishing arrows tend to be allot heavier than hollow aluminum needing a heavy bow to get any range. You need the weight and velocity to pierce the fish. Compound bows are the way to go. Fished 80 pound...

I've only used fish finder rig or free lined, maybe occasionly used a chicken rig; I always use the lightest weight possible of course…but I've notice a lot of you use knocker rigs. I never see these...
