Penn Senator 9/0 For sharking What to spool

What line should i spool as backing and how much of it and alson. what pound braid would you guys recomend to spool it with and how much of that. i also need help with leaders and other things i have never done this before. i plan on going for little sharks 4-9 feet hopefully. Thanks Everyone.

My 9/0 is spooled with about 600 yards of 100 lb PowerPro, and then a ~150 yard topshot of 80 lb mono.

What type of know would you use to attach the powerpro to the mono? and would the same knot work for 120lb mono? Thanks

I use an Albright knot. Just make sure you test it well so it doesn't slip with the braid.
