Yea they do.I want to catch one red handed. He would get his BEEP handed to him with a 4/0 to face
and that is why I refuse to go any serious distance from my stuff when fishing. I feel for ya Robbie.

Robbie -

Sorry about your gear. You shouldn't have to worry about people stealing from you when the idea of being there is to relax and enjoy yourself.
This is just another example as to why you won't find me on a pier.
It's sad.
I've been to 4 Winter Star Parties in the Keys. There are about 550 amateur astronomers there for the week long event and there is an awful lot of money tied up in 'scopes and other valuable electronics. All this gear is pretty much left out in the open for everyone to inspect, share and enjoy - not once in the 4 events I attended (each time for the whole week) was there any report of stolen equipment.
I guess there are still some of us who still need to look up and grasp that appreciation of the "Big Picture" and apparently at least one of them likes to fish that pier.

Don't waste your time or lower yourself to this persons level trying to catch this jerk - IT ALL COMES BACK AROUND.

It was great to meet you Robbie. Sorry about the gear. Hope you catch the guy.

Enjoyed my first trip to this pier. Caught a blue runner, and a small cuda; snook picked up my pichard, but dropped it-it was on a circle hook so all I could do was watch it happen.

Next week Jensen Beach.
Wanna go fishin?
We ain't left yet?

So what's the deal with this pier being so damn dirty. Fish guts everywhere, line and hooks littered all over the place. Seems like there are trash cans and recycle bins all over the place. I swear, this just makes honest fishermen look like crap to people that are looking for any reason to shut us down.

Just an observation about this pier, take it for what it is.

Nice meeting you Robbie, Glad to hear you got in to those bones and landed a snook. Things always heat up right after we leave. Sorry about your stuff being stolen. Were back in PA now and will have to settle for catching trout and bass. Im on saltwater withdraw already, hope I can hold off until January when we will be back.

Got there at 6:30. got bait and a giant school of Jack creveles came in crashing the pilchards and I got a about a 15 lb. Snook out of the school. And throughout the day, I caught runners and more runners. My friends that I was with, (Snapperkiller), got a foot long Kingfish out of a school of Macks. That was pretty cool. Thats about it for today.

Got there with kngfishman. I got a 30 lb snook in the morning on 10 lb test. then I got like 20 somting runners on a white jig and X-rap, and a small cuda on the X-rap. Then caught the small king on a pilchard. the macks were being tricky today. Tons of bait and flat water until the storm came in. Great day 8)

I was out there this morn from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. A lot of runners, I caught a lot of undersized yellow tail, and one undersized trigger. Someone else caught a keeper yellow tail. kngfishman caught an undersized spanish mack.

went late today, maby 11. Very slow. I got a mack and a couple of runners on my trusty jig. People were losing tarpons. It was very windy and that just turned the fish off.

I caught a bunch of yellow tail out there. Not one was a keeper. Some guy right next to me caught one that was 14"+. I was using live shrimp and was hitting them left and right. Too bad they averaged 9".
