Fished Juno Beach Pier last Sat and there was a lot of small bait in the surf. Was thinking of hitting it again tomorrow morning.....has anyone fished it yesterday or today that can tell me if the bait is gone out of the surf?? Maybe I need to bring my own??

Went this morning at first light. No Bait, No Bite. Caught one cero about 7 inches long on a sabiki, threw the biki looking for bait into a flash off of the pier and caught the mac. :P

A good friend of mine was there today(Juno Pier)and did say fishing was awesome. He did say there were lots of macs, blues and muttons being caught. I personally fished with two friends from the beach down in the Boca area this afternoon. There were tons of mullet coming down the beach. In 2.5 hours we caught, 5 muttons up to 20", about 12-15 blues, countless jacks up to 5lbs and a handful of ladyfish. We were all fishing spoons in order to cast far enough due to the wind.
Going to give Juno a shot in the morning. Good luck to all.

It seems the Muttons are being caught up and down the palm beach coast. My buddy caught a 28 incher over the weekend in 60 feet. Not Boatless but still a great catch.

Seriously though can the mods keep this thread to real reports?

9 Cobia, are you f-ing retarded?

There was a handful of keeper muttons caught on sunday the biggest being around 5 pds. There was maybe 5 or 6 caught all day today. Worth trying for but you have to put in your time and weed through a lot of bluefish to get them.

Dave caught a 25pd king on a live runner on sunday, and Will got one about the same size on an X-Rap but those were the only two caught.

The only thing they are catching really well at the Juno Pier is Bluefish. They are solid, every single cast solid. There are mullet schools coming by but there is nothing but bluefish on them. Once the swell got real big on Sunday the water got real dirty (dark brown mud) and the color change line is about 500 yards outside the bouy line. There should be sharks there but there just isnt, trust me we have been trying. There should be Tarpon and snook on the mullet but there isnt.

I went to Palm Beach Inlet this evening and it was the same thing, thousands of bluefish and a few muttons under them (I got two keepers and a few shorts). No tarpon and no snook in the mullet there either.

Before it starting blowing I was doing decent at picking off some snook and Tarpon when I found bait on the beach or at one of the inlets, but since it started blowing it drove the bluefish down and I cant get away from them no matter what I try. I might have to :driving: south a little bit.

With the SE wind and the strong SE current the water has went from brown to really clear. There is pods of bluefish coming through and a few Bonito.

Bro I dont know where your getting your info from but if it from someone else they are making you look like a clown. If you are actually going to Juno yourself then you are just lying. No one is missing anything but bluefish, a few macks, and a couple Bonito. The Cobia havent showed up yet.
