Mono to mono knot

Post by ahaga09 »

Hey guys,
Just wondering what knot anyone would recommend for line to line tying. Going from hi viz mono to clear mono. Thank you for your time and consideration again.

We will be down tomorrow evening and I cant wait....I see where there is chances of thunderstorms in KL this week. Any of yall care to share a "locals" forecast on what you think will actually be going on? Thanks again

I would use a uni to uni knot. About the weather, the rain seems to come through in the afternoon. Morning hours you should be fine.

Uni to Uni, or Blood Knot would be my choices depending on size and/or difference of size for the mono.

Hope this will make it easier for you! Be sure to wet the knots before you pull them together. Never use oil. Spit is best and readily available.
Those other fish must be smart. We caught all the stupid ones!

Depending on application I tie a Bimini to Bristol knot, or just a basic Albright knot. My buddies like the uni to uni for everything.

As for the weather, it's coming from the west, so you should be good until the afternoon.

You should also visit the leader length and top shot threads from a few days ago. Try the white bait that just started showing up down there. It is said they have privilege on the bite.
