Greetings to all.
My name is Sean. I live in Lee County. I fish 3-5 days each week. Mainly targeting Snook from bridges and Fort Myers canals. I moved here from Denver, CO this past summer. Bass fishing was my passion...several big Snook and Tarpon later and I've changed my tune.
Stoked to be here reading posts and seeing some pics of amazing fish.

Hi. I joined this forum not knowing it was a Florida fishing site. I am jealous of all you Floridians that get to fish all year round! I hope you enjoy Florida.

Re: New from SWFL
Thanks for the greetings.
I'm a regular at the Matlacha Bridge leading to Pine Island. I've done well up there thanks to the guidance of a few "old timers" and "young guns." The trick for me was learning how to use the features of the bridge when targeting the resident Snook.
I had a great season. My best night was 15 Snook on the bridge. Many nights were spent shooting the breeze and nothing landed. I caught several Snook over slot (I have pics of them all). I have landed 4 of 6 Tarpon that took the bait. My biggest Goliath Grouper has been 26". All told...I kept enough Snook to fill my freezer and released my fair share of keeper size Snook as well.
I caught my first Red fish (27.250") on the Fort Myers pier. Also landed my first Jack(s) on the FM pier too. Great fight!
Anyway, more about my adventures later. Here are some pics.
