diceded to take the skiff out of homestead bayfront marina, poled the flats by arsnick key and found this!!!

how cool
my cousin works for noaa. said i could keet it, there biodegradable thin wood. as long as i make a copy/pic and mail/email it to them..

best part is the date...420!!!!!!!!!! hahah

Already on the fish wall!!! emailed all the info,they said it was from an oil spill research back in 05 wanted to track the path..

Nice, its doing its job.... probably been bobbing in and out of the mangroves with the wind and tides since being dropped in.
Were you able to find out where it was dropped in the water ?

Did you catch any fishes

Been so long it was half buried in the sand..after i wiped it down i checked if it sank or floated.. sunk im sure it floated its way there tho.
location of drop is in above link,
fishing report is more fish seen than caught!!! almost got spooled by a big as ray, 25lb tst locked drag, skiff in tow
