Well finally got back on the water last sunday, usualy crew Vic Jared and 2 greenies. morning started off slow but we found out Vic was the Cobia Magbet this day. He managed 2 short cobes in pretty much the same spot and Jared got one short cobe. all were taken with fresh cut blue runner. No keepers this trip just a great day on the water with some bending rods.

Good report guys..hell, I'll take those bent rods anyday! Lol..don't worry, yall will get emotional soon..surprised yall didn't get any kings tho..plenty out there now

I was thinking the same thing... Most of the people I have talked to cannot keep anything flashy in the water without a king destroying it.

I even tried the standard 3 hook king rig with a ballyhoo with no hits, we were fishing in 200' though maybe they were in shallow that day usually they stay around 100ish

True...usually fish them in about 90-120ft...but yall already knew that..lol...nonetheless, yall always have fun and do good on your trips..love reading your reports guys..keep em coming! :)

Was a great trip felt good to bend the rod. Cant wait till they get bigger
