Sharks,Tarpon,Blues,Macks, Goggleyes at Newport

Customers have reported abundant sharks being caught at the pier. Blacktips,Nurse and unidentified. They are eating deat baits. Tarpon that have taken up station at the pier are being hooked on live bait. Jacks are arriving in the early morning hours and some large ones have been caught. Googleyes are being caught off the T using sabikis tipped with squid or old fashioned gold hook rigs tipped with squid. Also reported are a few mackeral and bluefish being caught plus one kingfish[?] as well as assorted bottom fish,lane snappers,runners,etc.
