I had never heard of it but the website looks interesting. However, in my experience, most "gimmick" lures like that work better at catching the fisherman's wallet then the fish.

:uplol: Yep, I hounded my parents until they bought me it for my birthday when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. I still have them actually. I also fell for the Banjo Minnows, they actually caught some fish however.

I just pulled my Flying Lures out from my closet. Wonder if I can get any money for these at an antique store? :jester:

The biggest largemouth I ever saw caught in person was on a helicopter lure at the Atlantic/Sawgrass spillway.

You can use them on verticle jigs or a jig head and bounce off the bottom floor.

The bigger sizes would be great trailers or lures for sight casting cobia.

Also how effective is it? I saw some youtube videos but would like to ask forum members their experience.
My cousin's friend actually developed that lure. They mostly use it for macs off the skyway bridge. He is in the videos also. They work well but keep in mind so do McDonald's straws, especially when they are thick like they days in the videos. I'm pretty sure they are not sold in stores at the moment.
