lol the guy with the fly rod reel.in channel 2 a guy had 4 spinning reels penns on conventional rods ,hook a nice fish end up picking up line with his hands hialeah homeboy brother from the hood .sorry i was lazy to take pic i was going to have tell him heeey nice rods

I honestly do not see anything googan with that guy. He looks more like someone who just uses what he has got or can afford.

Some people fish with the most simple setups or for example just line wrapped to a plastic bottle because they either cannot afford anything else or because they have been doing it so for ages or grew up like that.

IMHO there is a difference between googan and being not heavy on the financial side or stuck with a habit.

Do not forget different country's different methods.

Anyway I agree that it can be possible that he can't afford anymore gear. Of course rocking the button looking like he's on his way to the club after isn't helping his case.

There a completely different type of sandals, socks with thong sandals would be different. Actually a lot of people i know, and myself refer to them as 'slides' cuz there basically like slide on shoes imo.

watched they guy for 20 mins trying to reel in the pier , upside down reeling hooked to the pier , telling buddies ive got a big one , couldn't take it any more , told the guy he was caught on the pier and fixed his reel so he could reel the right way ... always get a laugh from people from over seas that have fished out there part of the world and cant fish in others .............................................................................................................



2nd part of this report

watched about 18 shark fishermen for half the night , i was laughing the whole time on the pier , these guys were funny with all there reels added up they cost more than my brothers truck! and they had about 20 - 25 reels and stayed tangled up with each other most of the night , aint nothing like untangleing 100lb mono lol ..

Just some of the rods and reel , there were more on the other rail ....

These geniuses decided to dive almost straight under the pier, even when a guy snagged their dive flag they didn't get the message, finally a lifeguard paddled over to them and made them leave.

That is the first time that I have seen a runner in someone's pocket. Were they that plentiful that he ran out of room in his bucket/cooler?
