TIME FOR a BF TOURNAMENT ??????--Its Happening July 15th

Jack crevalle are found on practically all coastlines in the gulf of Mexico, and I know for sure their range goes from all of Florida's east coast way down to Brazil, besides its my favorite fish to catch! so I think its safe to include the Crevalle as they grow pretty darn big in south florida

as far as posting up the measurements...how would this work? do we just post up at the end the biggest we caught. or do we report each one and at the end use the biggest we have? kinda confused on that aspect

Rules are forth coming. I have to imagine each fish will be entered as it is caught. You would have to post a pic next to the tape with a yet to be mentioned secret item.

It should just be any species every now and then I've seen large rare or freak catches come over the rails off these piers, I've heard and seen the occasional large cobia, bonefish, grouper, bonita and on a few very rare occasions have even seen sailfish caught off these piers, these are all rare off the piers but what happens if you happen to catch one of those, it should count, sharks and tarpon should be excluded

Should I say what the prizes are in the beginning or wait to the end??

Maybe say some of each prize and then let the rest of each place winner be surprized?

Rules look great. i would suggest to add no snatching and can you change to any kind of jack or just jack Crevales? AJ's off Anglins and permits, but the again KISS is the way to go.

The rules seem fair for all in the state of Florida. I feel honored to be a judge and will be impermeable to any bribes, unless someone has 250 year old scotch (JK). I'll hook up the laptop to the HD 42" TV to make any & all judgements. Start your fishing when the bell rings. I hope everyone enjoys the spirit of the game !!!

That would be 2 separate pics correct? One of the fisherman holding the fish and a different pic of fish, ruler and print out? Just to clarify and make sure no one stretches a fish out or try to add some unnecessary inches by saying "well the fish was curved a bit so I added an extra 3in.."
Also, pic submit size stays the same or should pic sizes be bigger to make it easier on the judges?

Personally, I would say go cheek first to the deck next to your prize fish. Een if it takes a couple pics, it should do. Or if you are fishing alone, have duct tape & zip ties to position your camera or phone (with enough detail) to get it all. We'll leave it up to BF.

If you are fishing alone this may be an issue so you could take another of you holding the fish and your good

Just want winner fishes with the fisher for the final post.

Most Cameras if you send the pic to me as is will produce a pic that can be zoomed in.

If you do adjust the photo for the post thread just make sure you save the original one just in case we need to zoom and I will ask for it in that case.

This sounds like a great plan! If you aren't asking for an entrance fee, then leaving the prizes a mystery is definitely acceptable. In fact, I'd almost prefer it.

I have had a couple of members offer up a little something to make more winner placements which is cool, so if anyone wants to donate something to it that is fine but we will not say that you are donating anything until it is over. Lets keep it quiet between me and you.

Right now there will be
1,2,3,4,5,place winners nothing extravagant but a little something to get you fishing.

Well like always everyone catches fish until the tourney starts, then it all goes dead calm seas, crystal clear waters, or muddy catfish waters. LOL

Yeah if I was fishing the tourney I'd want 4 weeks as well for the same reason.
