pompano migration?

Post by hugehail »

This seems like a bad sping for Ponpano. When are things going to pick up? We are expected to have east to northeast winds from
Sunday through next week. I know that southeast is a better wind for pomps but will east to northeast bring any in?

Good question. I've not been scouring the web for reports, but the Palm Beach Post report that I get weekly via email has not reported much pomp action south of Jensen beach the last couple/few weeks. However, now is the normal time for them here in the Boca area. I, too, am watching for some SE breeze. however, if there are pomps around, they're still gonna eat each day, so just look for a bit of wave break (to churn up bait) and try in those areas. *IF* I get out there, that's my plan... :-)
