What part of delray beach do you surf fish without the life guards blowing their horn ?

So back at the beach first light 9/22, found a small school of mullet but big ones. 7 - 10 in.
They were vary relaxed no predictors, cast net a few. I free lined and tried cut bait, no action, need a storm and some wind.
Still excited for the action I know is coming.

Went out today in the pouring rain and caught my first fish here in delray! It was a small jack, better than nothing. Also caught a small pompano, bluefish, 3 more jacks and a lizard fish. Not a great day but my best day so far. Still on the hunt for a snook! any tips are appreciated. Saw tarpon cruising up and down the beach as well, pretty cool but I was definitely not prepared to battle one of those big boys with the outfit i was using.

The mullet are coming hopefully. Need a good blow it the water to cool off to get them to come down.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Went out this morning and found a huge school of mullet getting destroyed by tarpon amongst other fish. Unfortunately i only caught a bunch of bluefish and fought one tarpon for about 15 sec before he spit the hook. Also lost about half my tackle box to blue fish -_- but non the less it was a great day. eventually had to stop because they went into an area where a lifeguard said i couldn't fish :( amazing sight to see though.
