2012 was my first mullet run experience, having only lived in Florida for 6 months now. Got some good action, lost some big fish too. Lessons were learned the hard way and 2013 will surely bring more...

Cool vid, yep, it is amazing when the mullet run is on... Now, go out there and nail them in their winter pattern... Ill give u a hint! Inlets, brackish water and shrimp! Be ready for skinnier fish...

Fished the Rickenbacker bridge 3 days ago... Bait was running through with
people using a biki and also castnetting them. I saw a bunch of Macks come
over the rail. I caught one with a zip jig lure....

Fished the flats on a kayak again today. At first it was slow and I just drifted along getting a few trout here and there. Then I found a honey hole along the edge of the channel were the grass went...

There's a full moon tomorrow and I plan on snapper fishing I was wondering what the forum thinks the best bait for mangrove snapper is? Out of:
shrimp
scaled sardines
spanish sardines
silversides...

went out today from 11-2...windy as hell which made tossing my light jigs very difficult...had to work but nailed em..finished with 4 macks and 2 jacks and.......a nice grover!! on a bright green...

Heard that Don's B&T in Homestead is going to be closed by the end of the month. That really sucks, Ashley and crew are good folks who would go the extra mile to make sure they had the bait you need....

Hard to tell on size there, the biggest was 5lbs, caught three total, one was about 3 and the other 2 or so. It was an exceptional evening.

Well after catching around 15 mullet i ran to the beach at around 5pm, freelined one and got a little jack, had like 2 more bites on live mullet but none of them got the hook set... But yet when i go...
