This is been a ruff week on the fishing news. First Sebastian gets all but close down now this. What's next, calling off the mullet run.

16 is edible and good meat.. but i agree much harder to get a keeper... most i get form land are just shy of 16 and dude all theppl keepin poop they shouldnt or are over privleged to has lazy susan it up for the rest of us... so great no more muttons on land.. i rarely get one over 16

Im gonna try once more and say they are there. If you have to travel for them then do so. Fish wont come to you & you will have to work for them. These are shore bound fish

"State waters only. Does not effect my trips unless we fish in state waters. Which we never do.

If it ever does get adopted in federal waters then the limit on my trips will drop from 30 muttons to 15. I think we can all agree 15 is more than enough.
Lastly it does effect the boats that fish inside the Dry Tortugas National Park as it is considered state waters.
