NE vs E vs SE winds

Post by fish5aver »

What is the differences in winds when fishing all the way south from Haulover to north, like Juno pier? I have no idea which wind condition will attract more fish or seaweed, please shine some light on this topic, thanks.

in Fall fish migrate from north to south, so if fishing from shore you want a NE wind -- it get's the fish moving south and keeps them close to shore. The opositte is true in the Spring. These are general rules....so fish when you can, regardless of wind.

Agreed!!! Fish when you can when those winds blow, but avoid new or w winds..better off staying home..gin clear water is garbage in the fall.
