Black Drum

Got down to the river tonight for the last few hours of incoming tide. Caught this decent 5 lb. Black Drum and my camera died before i could get a pic of his huge belly, SMH.
Also caught a few mangrove snappers, one was good sized, and lost something else, not a bad short trip.

All of my short trips should be that bad. Great fish. Amazing how good some of these fish look when they first come out of the water.

Got out tonight in the blazing heat and got another black drum and then after that it was a ladyfish bonanza, either caught one or lost one on every cast, many aerial jumps and headshakes, crazy little fuckers. Good action.

Was raining hard all day, got out tonight a few hours and found a certain spot where reds, ladies and mangos were stacked up, 3 Redfish, about 7 Ladyfish and about a dozen Mangrove Snapper one of which was probably my PB. Rain night fishing, love it! Finally got a decent pic of a Ladyfish.
