Cast net trade. 8ft for 7 or 6ft

Post by Moose »

So I've had a betts super pro 8ft cast net for a little over a year and its done me great, but it's time to be practical. I hardly need to use one this big and I need a smaller one for the fishing I do.

If anyone wants to trade straight up for a net of comparable value I will be ecstatic. If not, I'm open to any offers.

This has been my favorite net and I wish I'd be going out on the boat more often but that's not the case. I believe it's 3/8" mesh and its a fast sinking one.

Open to any trades but what I really want is another net.

Would you even notice the difference between a 8 and 7 ft net? 6' 3/8" mesh is a good multi purpose net, easy to throw in tight spots.

you can tell the diff TBH...i'm only 5'7 so a shorter net makes it that much easier to load and toss it with some distance or in a tight spot...it also weighs a bit more...

i used to have a 7ft cheapo net that did its purpose but i figured i could upgrade to 8 w/o an issue..but after using it for a couple months its just not practical for me

hmmmmm.....i'll give you 5 bucks and a half eaten taco for a spool of braid off your VS.....

i dont want to sell it...i want to trade for another USED net of similar price/condition...its just a little uncomfortable to throw in some places, not impossible...i still use it...just want something a little more practical
