Yeah ones new one was there. The CHIRP sonar module is the big upgrade. But it's under the dash so out of sight. The massive transducer is under water.

Hi, all! I recently joined BF up after reading a lot of the threads for information as a fairly new fisher. I only recently got into fishing this year since relocating to Hallandale Beach (despite being a Florida native), and I have found the site to be both friendly and helpful.

I would love to make it for the picnic and want to know whether there is anything in particular I can bring or do to help out.

First of all welcome to the party. And your timing is perfect because I'm getting the feeling this BBQ is going to be huge. The best thing you just did for the BBQ was post something like ...."Hi guys, I'm new, don't know anyone here but I accept your invitation to the BBQ and want to play". I'm likin' you already. Here's what I would do....,set up a desktop link to "active topics". That's where all the action is on the forum and I'm sure the BBQ thread will be hot. We will be posting items we would appreciate someone helping out with as we think of them. If you see something that works for you just claim it. We're still looking for someone to bring the six hookers. Anything else just shoot me a PM.

It didn't work out guys I kind of regret giving him the skiff I pray for that boy everyday ,I have been taking this boy fishing since he was in pampers, on fathers day did not call me ,there is more I wont say tho he is my son and I love him.I hope im wrong JOE but I think you enjoy this ,you know what he still my son and I love him he is young some boys become men sooner than others. At least he don't get in trouble with the law like I did in younger days lol and my dad RIP was always by m side ,he got me out of jail a couple of times etc lol, he was an amazing dad on his last days with cancer I was by his side all the time on weekends I go to GF place and he will call me ,hey when are you coming ? I got him spoil he had insurance transport for dr's appointments he told me no you take me ,I even had to learn to inject insulin I hate needles grrrrrr and on my dad more ,he died in peace I told him I will take care of mom and even his dog Bruce I TOLD HIM I QUIT DRINKING also going to church I may not look like I go ,but I do sorry for the long speech guys.

Since I Left for SF and Napa the last 4 days I have not seen any activity.'

Come on you readers I can see you and many of you have been reading this forum for YEARS and we are not talking a couple,

Come on out and have a bite to eat and meet some Members, Get some pointers for the Fall runs because lets hope its starts a month or so down the road after this and they haven't been the best the last couple of years and maybe its time for that cyclical fishing thing to happen when CHAOS breaks out and fish are abundant.

We have had some great fishing days together on the pier on past great runs and I hope we see a great one this year. Go ahead tell em about those that were there.

So what the hell......it's a once a year event. I know the new guys would enjoy meeting you and for sure the older guys seeing you again. Tell you what.....you come and I'll convince GK to hold a hawking seminar on the jetty after dark. That's gotta be worth the price of admission. A chance to out fish the master? In his neighborhood? We will be at the Leatherback Pavillion 1.8 mile in on main road on right side



Park Fees
$6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
$4.00 Single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle.
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
