What would you guys want and why??????????

Hello hookers, I was wondering if I could get some feed back. My b-day is comming soon and x-mas, the wife asked me what I want and I want a new conventional reel. Ive been seeing alot of nice ones at Anglins(i only fish the pier and beach). The only two conventional reels i have is an Avet 50w on a 9' shark rod, and a Penn star drag that i cant even read the model. I dont want another huge reel, I want one that casts great, has a big retrive, high speed, enough drag to slow down big ones, two speed would be nice but not a must, and it must be sexy!!!!!! Ive been looking at the Avets (sx,mx,jx,lx),Diawa Saltiga, Saltist, Accurate Boss (i like alot), Jigging Master Power Spell(real pretty), Canyon HS-15(also super hot) So I need feed back, Im not looking to break the bank, but dont want crap. Around $600.00 or less is cool, but will go over a little. So please help a putz make up his mind, What would you want and why?????????thanks so much for feedback. Tight lines my friends!

ive had alot of reels, i work at a tackle shop so i use reels and get rid of them all the time and i have to say, the daiwa seagate 50 is the best casting reel ive ever had... nice smooth drag, casts better than any reel ive ever owned, and ive had accurates and avets, toriums, squidders, saltists, trinidads... for $600 you can get a trinidad 30 and a seagate 50... both great reels... idk what kinda fishing your doing but with the seagate i can launch a 6 oz bank on my 10 ft custom bottoms rods 100 plus yards... its a great reel dude... look into it, and there at a great price

Isn't the Seagate basically a graphite Saltist?

ive used both, the saltist cast like poop... and when you reel, feels like it has no cranking power.... the seagate.. cast really well hold alot more line, and has great cranking power... like i say i use just about every reel that comes thru these doors and thats my favorite by far...

Given the location and styles of fishing you are doing avoid two speed reels. Sand kills them and you dont need them at all for what you are doing. The Avet LX , Torium30/40, or any similar size reel with a ear ratio around 4-1 is fine. Spend the extra cash on a nice custom casting rod

Thank you guys soooo much for the info. I have it narrowed down to the following: Trinidad TN30A $500 basspro , Torium TOR30 $200 basspro, and last buy not least the Avet LX or HX $300 to $450 terminatortackle.com.(does anyone know how the Avet HX casts?) What do you guys think of the reels on this list? Thanks you again so mush for all the help fellas.

And I am going to buy the Diawa Seagate SGT40H at $150 i cant go wrong, its worth a try. But still want to buy one of the above.

A first run Trini 40 has been in my arsenal for around 10 years. Only one drag issue in all that time. Reel casts like a dream and works for snook tarpon medium sharks and casting for snapper on the pier. It's landed more muttons on boats than I can count. I keep 50/60 mono on top backed by 300 yards of 50 lb braid. Casts like a dream with 8 oz. for the Trini 30 I'd go 300 yards of 40/50 braid topped with 30 lb mono as much as you can pack on it.

The Torium 30 will work as will the Avet LX but the HX is more of a jigging reel as far as I know

You won't be dissapointed with the Trinidad. I would stay away from the Torium personally, I've seen 2 of them blow up on people.
