best shark bait for black tips?

whats the best kind of bait for black tips? I can get mullet, ladyfish, jack, mackerel, and bonita..but which one is the most productive? I've used ladyfish and got little bull shark on that, but I want some opinions.

Fresh bait is the best.... ladyfish, mackeral, bluefish, mullet, jacks, runners, bonito, kingfish , all whole or cut depending on size .All work never seen them have a preference. Fresh is the key.

black tips are pretty agreeable on eating , but they are sharks , a little blood wouldnt hurt
....theres nothing wrong with the other baits you mentioned though
....just to make ya think a little ..using process of elimination, which two from your list would you put as the least desirable , and why ?

jacks are really good to use.

A good tip is to know the area you're fishing in, what species are in high numbers.
Fish tend to go for the easer pray and might end up searching for that speacie.
If there is a lot of mullet where your fishing then use mullet and so on.

And as mentioned befor fresh and bloody!

Don't really like using catfish, but eels onthe other hand are great big hammer bait ;D

for kayaked baits nothing beats a fresh king. For casted baits just get a head of a 1lb or less jack and casted it out, it last long and castes good, gl
