this rod is 8ft 10inch long its an origanal gator glass blank i dont remember the rating but it is a solid 50lb rod..you could fish any reel you wanted on it.. a 4/0 for snook or permit and anything up to a 50wide for sharks..also would be a stud permit rod for the bridges..this was a used blank but it is perfect condition.. i have rebuilt it with all new parts ,grips, guides ,reel seat..

it is 16" to the start off the reel seat..
