So my lady and I decided to hit up a new Peruvian Restaurant in Downtown Miami the other afternoon for lunch, they are mainly a Ceviche Bar (Which we didn't have) that just opened up 3 Months ago which is called Pier 94 and she found a good deal with GroupOn.

First off this spot was AMAZING, their food was just spot on.

I'll skip to the entree because its the reason I wanted to post this, but basically it was "Corvina" Fish which neither of has had never tried or heard of but apparently it is part of the Drum and Croaker family mainly caught in California.

Waitress told us it was a white fish similar to Sea Bass so I said lets do it. They lightly fried it in their own seasoned batter which gave the fish a very light crust, then poured over was roasted tomatoes and red onions in a Peruvian Style light sauce, paired with White Rice and WOW is what I have to say.

For anyone who comes across this fish go for it, I'm sure the way they prepared it and combined with their own sauce had alot to do with the way it tasted, but this was something new I wanted to share with you fellas so if you do run into this species, just remember its got a thumbs up.

So any of you guys every try or hear of this fish? :dude:

Nelson, Ron, no doubt of course I hear where you fellas are coming from. Place seemed real legit so all was good, I wouldn't just pick something from a shack and go to town with it, especially if I have any doubt about it, but that wasn't the case there.

If I'm in the area ill go back again. Appetizer and desserts were spot on as well!
