What do you guys think about these type of bait? I don't see people use these at all but see store sells them.

Good:
- They don't need to be frozen or kept cool, so they can be in your tackle box and ready to use whenever.
- They don't spread some diseases that some frozen or live bait carry. The mid-western states are have this problem.

Bad:
- Do they work as well as frozen bait?
- They are not cheap.

So if you guys were to have a choice of Frozen or preserve bait which one would you use and why? Ofcourse live bait would be the prefer bait of choice.

I haven't a clue why they are still in buisness. I asked a store employee the same question at sports authority, they he said they never sale, and he'd never use em. I wouldn't either, they look mummified all dried up and nasty looking. From personal experience bait works best when its blood is still bright red. However when fish are actively feeding anything works, including frozen, I bet even those preserved baits would work if the fish arebhungry enough. I seen grouper caught on a slice of tomato in the GOM, so it could work. Will it work better then a live or fresh bait, lol really?

I also wonder how they still do business....I would rather use slices of cardboard from a fedex box then use that for bait..plain and simple stay away from it.

you mean those killer bee baits?? oh please those baits are in disgraceful condition and they never sell them anywhere I'm at, I see them at basspro and I honestly do not know why they have it.
