Location: Born, bred and someday dead in Mobile, AL
Caught and released this 'big ugly' last Saturday in Pelican Bay (Alabama) near the old landlocked Dauphin Island Pier.
Sightcasted on 10# test spinning outfit using a 3" Gulp Shrimp (New Penny) on a 1/4 oz jig head.

44" long, it likely weighed about 40# :shock:

Cannot make out the model but is a XL right?

Yes, it's a US REEL 240 SX with 10# mono.

Yeah I like the supercast and the drag that stays the same un til the last wind without havinf to re-adjust.


Got a 240XL and it can sling a 1/4 ounce a mile.
