Wanted to head down to CH 2 today and still might, but my day gotten a few hours behind. Any closer areas in the keys that are practical to fish without driving two hours?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Channel 2 is the first bridge that is open to fishing. You can fish from the shore beneath some of the other bridges before you get to Channel 2. Just make sure there are no signs that say "No Fishing" or "No Trespassing". I usually see people fishing at Whale Harbor, Tea Table and Indian Key bridges.

Go to card sound road if you wish. A few areas & bridges you can fish from. One of the few 18-21 inch snappers we caught were under some of the bridges
