Just wanted to know where I could get a vintage Penn spinner or similar out of the 60es or 70es

Not to huge of a reel

something to hold like 20# line mono for a 7'2" spinner

Want to have something reasonable in price

What you guys got or do you happen to have a source you would like to share?

Yeah was looking at a couple and it just is more than I want to spend.

I do not really want to fish it. I mainly need this for pictures. Depending on the theme of the rod I build I want to give it a full look when I post it up or once I have the website up and running for STRiZ Custom Rods

I lucked out on one auction and am currently bidding on another. If this works out I'll have the perfect reel.

Cant say what it is yet.

Thanks guys

I have Penn 550 & 750 SS series, maybe even a 550 Z serires.. but the SS's are still in the used on every offshore trip mode. Could get ya some photo's if that woudl help.

I may still have a Diawa Black & Gold, that long ago was taken out of service.

You can pick them up on flea bay for 30 to 100 bucks.

Thanks for all the offers.

I have acquired a really nice reel. D.A.M Quick 86

It fits the bill

Green Tide

Are you gonna be at the cleanup on the 28th?
If so lets talk about your suggestion.

Actually I got lucky. Somene was bidding with me so I set the max bid to a certain level to what I wanted to max spend. He apparently noticed to be outbid and backed off.

In the end I got it for $26.50 + shipping $8.00

Total $34.50

Well just received it

Reel has a couple of scratches but other than that is in PRIME condition.

Even the drag is totally there.

Gonna do a little paint job and service and then this one is ready to go.

Cell Pic grainy
