As far as the pier's income is concerned, wouldn't the county consider income derived from tourism? Hotels in the area will see more business which would affect other local businesses. Who wouldn't want to visit the the most innovative fishing pier in the world?

The problem with writing about religion is that you run the risk of offending sincerely religious people, and then they come after you with machetes.

Ok my friends, it just so happens I have 400 ppl on my FB, from friends from Piper high School co95 to the people I know having worked the club scene down here for 14 yrs or so. Most of that 400 is Floridians whether they live here or were born here or grew up here. we are at 83 right now. I will bve posting this link and a brief message asking for signatures to make this happen. We are at 83 now. Let me see if I can bring us up to speed and get it going. I will post 3 times a day or so to make sure everyone sees it. I will also ask my best friends who live here to do the same. Watch our numbers go up fast!!! I hope.

Hey my one friend in chicago had this to say for our information. might be something to be considered for sure..." composites oxidize quickly in the sun and tend to sag all over..make sure the plan calls for something t prevent this inevitable warping. i've worked with a lot of those composite decking brands through the years in remodeling and i find the idea to be great, but the product itself to fall short completely. either way Jerry good luck bud, i'd sign it if i lived there!""

Everyone is welcome to sign. One of the thing's that will be assesed is tourism impact. Out of town signature's represent that.
Clarence; I can't thank you enough! From 83 to 109 is all you. That's over 25% of what we had, and in under 36 hour's! Your participation has really jump started this effort.
Thank's again! :thumright:

I just signed the petition and urge all our boatless members to do the same. If we do they will get the message. :reeling:
