is it possible to paint a rod
i have a 7 foot rod that i took all of the guides off and am redoing the whole thing. i want to paint it black but i know there has to be some sort of special paint to do it. thanks for the help. Tight Lines

I just painted a Gator blank, I used Krylon Fusion Gloss Black, I am going to put epoxy over it on the entirety of the rod.

and how do i know what sized wrap to use. its a 7 foot spinning rod

Krylon its a good paint.i paint the whole blank let it dry and epoxy it let cure and then start wrapping next day.

The krylon is running all over the pole what do i do? and i f i dont like the color or it doesnt work out can i take the paint off?

btw i just used krylon outdoors there was no krylon fusion will that still work. can i use laquer thinner to take off the paint

its all painted exept for the bottom right above the handle i plan to wrap that red. what do i do next?
