anyone fished on of these? its the 8ft model. would it make a good pier rod? anyone know the line weight?

Very good eglass blank. Great for the pier and boat fishing. I own a few of these blanks. They are 40-60lb class rod. You can go heavier on Grouper and it won't affect as long you set the drag correctly.

They are a slow loading blank. Once you get the feel for it they cast very well.
