Thank you for the article Jetty. Excellent stuff
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

I've found fishing into the wind produces better. It pushes the bait up tight to the rocks and they can't get around. And guess who's waiting there for 'em.

Re: Jetty fishing 101 long but worth it
excellent post..i agree with alot of what you said, and also learned some new stuff..the breakdown of the zones was very informative and i will keep all that in mind..i love fishing jetties, preferably smaller rock piles..makes it easier for me to get off the rocks and onto the beach to fight big fish comfortably....i'll cast net the pilchards that wander too far from the rocks and use those to get ladyfish to fish on a heavier rig out in the deeper water..i'll toss that out and let it sit in a rod holder while i work around the jetty and shoreline for snook..so even if the fishing is slow i am always busy and i don't know where all the time goes..you can enjoy yourself even if you don't pull any lunkers to shore..i prefer to fish these type of spots early early morning to about noon, or from late afternoon to early evening..in the morning on the incoming tides, that is when the tarpon come in closer to shore, there have been times where i've seem them roll as close as 25-30 feet off the point on the incoming tide.

Wow!! Great Work!! I am going to burn the Ten Commandment of Jetty and put it in my vault for safekeeping. We are going to give it a try when the snake head or clown fishing slow down next month!!
